One of my sisters, her husband and their two teenagers are in Jamaica now. They're on their way to the airport as they're supposed to fly home today.
I think they should have left yesterday.

OOoooppps, all flights cancelled out of MBJ. They're looking at getting home probably Sat or Sun.
They tried to leave yesterday, but were quoted $3200.

Lake O in Florida has been way below average for many years and in fact has been at severe low for a while. It supplies most of the Drinking water along with the Biscayne Aquifer for South Florida..
Tropical Storm FAY dumped so much rain in just a week that they are going to have to DRAIN some of the lake to avoid overflow on the weakened levys...

RYD, Didn't they drain the lake some years ago in anticipation of a big storm that never hit...putting them into that bad situation? |
