Default Airaid throttle body spacer

Hey have any of you guys out there ever installed one of those Airaid throttle body spacers? Airaid says they improve torque and gas mileage. 4 wheel says they're a waste of money. Just wondering if anyone has ever put one on and what your opinion of them are.

i heard the same thing from 4wheel parts(used better as a paper weight than a tbspacer). the only cool thing about it is that it whistles.

The shop that installed my Magnaflow told me NOT to bother doing a throttle body spacer. And I asked his shop to do it, so you know it's true!! He said it's a waste of $$$$. Do the headers instead!!

I bought one for my Yukon a couple of years ago. It made a high pitch whistling noise that was annoying. I returned it to www.autoanything.com for a full refund. Waste of money. I'd say the same for most intake systems as well. I learned the hard way as I've purchased K&N FIPK, Airaid wit MIT, and now the GM Performance Intake Kit. Again, waste of money.
