Southwest MI - Northwest OH
Just thought I'd see how many H3 on here are from Southwest MI or Northwest OH. It'd be nice if we could have a thread running posting trail rides and meets for the local boys. Mounds, Badlands, etc
For the record I'm from Jackson, MI

I'm in Toledo Ohio, my buddy just got back from the mounds and had a ball. I'd be in if possible.

I'm in Mansfield OH which is a little drive but may be able to make some trips.
Told the wife we need to go to the sand dunes in western MI.

F5, you're just about my neighbor...I'm in South Lyon, MI. I was checking out the Badlands website last night, looks like a great spot for a gathering sometime.

Re: Southwest MI - Northwest OH
Hi guys, the Badlands are great for H3's! Lots of sand dunes to play on, trails from light to heavy duty. i was there a couple of weeks ago and it was an absolute blast! Before I knew it, it was time to go for the day!
It would be a bit of a drive for you Michigan guys.

Re: Southwest MI - Northwest OH
Hey Guys, I thought I'd post this for everyone:
Toys for Tots event hosted by 4given4X4 in Decatur on Dec 9. Great cause and a chance to check out "Kids in the Mudd" which has been closed to the public.
I'll be there, see flyer below. Would be great to see Hummers well represented:

Re: Southwest MI - Northwest OH
Little bit of a drive, it's over by Kzoo, we could meet here in Jax and head that way. I located just off the Elm St exit on 94. Figured it'd be a chance to meet some other like minded folks and help a good cause.

Re: Southwest MI - Northwest OH
I live between Flint and Port Huron.
I work in Lansing
I get an H3 or H2 about 2-3 times a year to wheel
Usually I wheel a modified '82 CJ7
I am planning a wheeling trip to the West Branch area on the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Jeeps and Hummers
Cant we all just get along?

Re: Southwest MI - Northwest OH
Maybe next time for me. Can't see off-roading for a few more weeks. Besides, I don't have a MI ORV sticker, and still sitting here trying to figure out why I need one; no other state I have lived in required it. Guess it must just be another tax on us citizens who already pay too dang much in taxes.

Re: Southwest MI - Northwest OH
I agree on the ORV fstop, especially at the Mounds, a county owned park, ran by the county. We sure have seen a increase in misc. fees etc over the past few years in Michigan.
