HAHAHAHAH!!!
$1.16 at WAL MART with a GIFT CARD!!! Get .03 Cents off with the CARD!!!
Hey it'll burn and they fill up those big arse tanks all the time...so there's always fresh gas at the Super Walmart!
Also look for Blue Light Specials at Kmart's Gas stations. Cars lined up the block to get in on it there!!!

$1.70 to $1.90 a gal. No. Calif. peninsula. No Wal-Mart here, have not seen a K-Mart with gas, I am not sure if I am the type to wait in a block long line, I did that in the '70s Jimmy Carter days. Not good for the Hummer image.

Went on a long road trip this past weekend and pulled into a smaller gas station. The owner was Indian and he was smiling at me from ear to ear with Great BIG $$ in his eyes!
He knew my Hummer had a great big belly to fill.
At $1.34 I was thinking she needs a cheaper diet!

I just had to join to let you all know that regular is down to $1.01 in the Atlanta market (which is traditionally cheaper than anywhere else).
I'm fairly conservative; but I keep wishing they would increase gas tax and decrease property taxes...my $.02.

Not sure why the price is cheaper here??? But it does vary across the state as well.
The northen half seems to be higher than down here closer to Florida where I am located.
With the rising cost and threat of no oil from the middle east in the future (eyeball rolling at this point), I think the locking gas cap may come in handy.

I have lived in Augusta Ga and now Savannah for 8 yrs, Gas has always been the cheapest in the country, which is one reason we will stay here. Oh by the way, so is the cost of housing, eating, partying, and all other activities of daily living, while pay is on par with any other place in the us. $ goes much further. I remember about 5 yrs ago when gas prices in Conn were $1.56 for regular (where my brother lives) and I was paying $0.96, I couldn't believe it....

I heard you on that one Sona...being about 3 hours from you I know what you mean about the cost of living down here. But it is cheaper to live in the northern part of the state in GA.
Houses are 50-75K cheaper in NWGA. We looked at buying in Savannah a year ago, and a house like ours we live in now runs around 800K to a cool Million where you live.
So we will stay right here where it's much cheaper, but would rather be closer to mountains of Tenn and NWGA where houses are more affordable.
