OK. H2 ran fine yesterday. Today, the damn thing won't shift right. I only have 2nd and 3rd gear. After driving and the truck and it shifts to 3rd gear, it won't downshift after coming to a complete stop. Downshifting manually into first only downshifts the truck to 2nd gear. So essentially I only have 2nd and 3rd gear and have to manually downshift every time. This ever happened to anyone else? Of course this happens when I'm on a 72 hour shift and don't get off until Saturday morning. Trans fluid level is fine. Any ideas?

This happened to me after a trip to devils den.
Worked fine, and then when we pulled out onto the road, it wouldn't shift for sqwat. Ended up getting a flatbed trailer, and having it towed to dealership. The dealer ended up replacing the whole transmission.
I would contact your dealer, and have them come get it, and let 'em figure it out!

Good Luck!

i would go with the flat bed. i had horrendus transmission problems with my IS 300 and I learned my lesson a few times trying to drive the vehicle. Its worht the wait to flat bed it. Sorry for all your trouble, its never fun when the rig is not running right.

Something in the ignition switch was the culprit. Works fine now. Got a used H1 for a loaner. I think I like my H2 better.
