Default nitto terra grapler thoughts?

i have read and heard some good things about this tire....anyone have any opinions?

and to clarify upfront, and for anyone who has already read any of my posts, my H3 (well, my wife's H3) is not going off roading...just a nice thing to carry my 2 year old in. she feels cool now

so for a road and highway tire? i want some 35'' to take up more of the wheel well

If your not wheeling dont go 35" i wouldnt even move up to 33" your just killing your gas mileage (not that bad with the 33") and if its an offroad tire it wont feel as smooth when you drive it, and i dont think any wife with a 2 year old is going to enjoy that. And 33" is the biggest you can go without a lift if you want to move up to 35" you need a level kit/ or a lift. 33" takes up a lot more wheel well than the stock 32". However the nitto terra grapplers are awsome tires. best advice buy her another one, take that one level it throw on 35" and wheel it!

How many fawking times do you have to be corrected on this?

You can fit 35's with no modifications. Many have done it.

Quick few torsion bar turns to prevent serious rubbing at full crank and you are all good :-) Make sure you measure from hub to fender well, the truck is never level from factory and even turns on the t-bars are usually not correct. Example. I hhad 4 turns on the driver and 2.5 turns on the passanger to get it level.

Ive got the terra grapplers on my dodge dually, 235/80r17(31.8x9.3r17). They ride great, very slight hum with the window down and in town speeds. Ive seen 35 TG's and the tread pattern is the same but more open than my small tires.
I was(still am) thinking about them but in a 33 for our H3, I cranked the t-bars but left it 1" higher in the rear. The plan was to go with 35's since the truck is our 3rd ride and for fun, but we noticed that we take it everywhere so we're thinking about staying with a 33 now for the mileage.

I have them...295's on stock rims. Went with these over a mudder due to the winters in western NY. No complaints and hantle well in mud and snow. The ride is good for an AT on the highway. Plus they look great too! Big improvement over stok. I would recommend them. I purchased them trhough Discount Tire Direct. They were on sale at the time.

I'm running mastercraft courser a/t. 305/70/16. taller tire and 4 inches wider .. aggressive tread but you get a smooth ride without road droning noise..... and their under my stock suspension....

hth......
