Hot Springs, AR was fun!
The Superlift ORV park was a really good time. The trails were wide enough for a H1, mostly. The park is in Hot Springs Arkansas. The temperature was a bit rough at 102, but there was no shortage of good times!

Re: Hot Springs, AR was fun!
Nice big facility. Probably 3-4 days to see all of the trails. You could transition easily from trail to trail. The trail ratings were good. Normal rigs good manage trails up to about three diamonds. After that front lockers, and a spotter are a must and body damage was likely. We had a group of about 7-9 trucks and fit great on the long trails.

Re: Hot Springs, AR was fun!
We got a lot of use out of our strapping and winching kit this weekend. I think that I used or lended every piece. Dragging the A$$ end of the H1, sideways, dosen't work vary well.

Re: Hot Springs, AR was fun!
Cool, sorry I missed it. We should have opted for this instead of our little HH, but I had some business to take care of there, also.
I plan on joining you guys on the next trip there.

Re: Hot Springs, AR was fun!
The next trip should be in the late Fall, I hope. We had a good time. The carnage included a H1 passenger rear quarter panel, H1 motor mount, H1 a/c, Jeep CJ5 fan blade, and some Jeep pride. My buddy with the Jeep was having some carb problems and couldn't handle being at any other angle but flat. Needless to say, it was hanging on a tow strap for most of the first day. The jeep was decorated with "Hummer Recovery Unit", and "makes frequent stops for Hummers" stickers. Humm? He's a funny guy.

It was one big box of hot! It was so hot that you hated the idea of rolling down the windows to listen to the spotter, even worst if you were the spotter. My buddy in the Jeep lasted about half of the first day. and hitched a ride the rest of the time. It just wasn't worth being in that heat. Ben in the Yellow H1 stuck it out like a trooper. We had nothing to complain about. Good wheel'in though. I can't wait to go back. October 13-15 is the next trip. Email me if you would like to meet up! We get a discount for more people.
