HAVE YOU NOTICED ON YOUR CAR BETTER MPG? I am asking when YOU put this on your Hummer did you notice an improvment in your MPG?

I think there have been some threads on this, and essentially... personal opinion... they don't do quite as much as they are advertised, throw your oil status numbers off, allow more grit into the engine, could screw up your air flow sensor etc. etc. but try searching through past posts.

Remember the H-3 does not draw hot air from under the hood.

If you remove the air filter cover you will see a hose leading to the right wheel well/cowl.

It appears the air being fed to the air filter is coming from the cooler air in that area.

SO

Send ME the $200 or more you want to spend on cold air induction ( i could use the dollars)

Oh !!

there are additional posts about OIL COATED air filter possible problems ( do a search )
