Re: thinking of an ATV....
Schweet!!! Most un-informed people try to buy the fastest race quads which are built for groomed race tracks and dune running. They take a quad like that out in the boonies or a very rocky trail( ie Crown King) and ended up fvcking the quad and themselves up. This quad seems like the best of both worlds utility strength and clearance with a sporty look, speed and handling. It is a little on the heavy side. but I would say go for it.

X2!
I'm planning a get a couple in the near future, but the racing ATV is not for me. I just don't get why anyone other than teenagers and racers get them. There is, however, a sweet track near my house and those guys get some massive air on those race rigs.

Re: thinking of an ATV....
ive been wanting an atv for a few years but whenever i go look at them, it seems the machine is either built for racing on moto cross trails, or for utility.
i want to be able to ride up dirt hills, sand dunes, trails, maybe some mudding....
they would always tell me they dont make a hybrid.
then i found the renegade, but im not sure just how good it is, (im sure good enough for me) but its awfully expensive.
i man, i hope to see u at badlands....hopefully if all goes as planned ill have the renegade and ur welcome to take it for a spin.

Re: thinking of an ATV....
POLARIS. Had one since 99, and its a tank. Polaris is the only way to go as far as I concerned. And if you want the HUMMER of ATV's, you have to look around and get the Polaris DIESEL. Yeah its slow, noisy, smells bad. But you can flog the hell out of it. I've only got 600-700 miles on mine, but I assure you if the way I have treated it were taken in to account that thing would have at least 25K on it.
