So after more than a year and 17k miles, I have a stone chip in my windsheild. I had been bragging about how amazing it was that after that period of time that there had been none, and that's what I get for shooting my mouth off.

A couple of scars will simply give your rig a rugged outdoors look.. At least you just got to keep telling yourself that over and over..

Adam,
I can't believe you haven't had more. I have chips all over the windshield, including a monster one-inch star from a big rock.

A few months ago I got caught in hail storm near the bottom of Floyd Hill on I-70. Rocks were flying off the cliff and I have several scars on my rear passenger side door. The car in front of me lost his rear window completely.

Got ya beat... 3 days old, 1 inch star from a rock off of a little CJ5 with skinny tires. Happened on I75 after a weekend of duck hunting and getting the new ride dirty

The funny part is that I immediately got a second, and then right after that, the windshield cracked from a stress point along the right edge.

Lucky me. Al Serra is replacing it under warranty next week.
