R.I.P.
Well she has been officially totaled. I am waiting to hear from the insurance company for the offer. All I can say is that this rig saved my life. If I had been driving my Charger I wouldn't be here. I am doing much better now. I hit the tree at 50 mph. I ended up breaking 6 ribs, got 16 stitches in my eye lid and forehead, and have bruises everywhere (especially my ego). The impact was so hard that the back window imploded. Well I am searching for the replacement now. I'll tell you Birmingham doesn't have that much to offer except for all the blingity bling mobiles. I'll keep you guys posted on what I find.

Re: R.I.P.
Glad to hear you walked away from that. I know I feel very safe, being in such a big rig. Thanks for confirming my safety.
It's okay -she will be with the other H2's in the sky. Wheelin her but off having fun.
Good luck on finding the replacement. I'm sure you got the pad and pencil out already writing down all the mods you wanna do again and what you wanna do different. Have fun.

Damn man glad you are ok.
Take the wheels and electronics out before someone at the lot stills it all.

Re: R.I.P.
BTW, at this time I plan to keep all the add-ons. If anything changes I will post them on the classifieds. Thanks for the inquiries though......

I am friends with the body shop owners. They said they had already gotten lots of calls on selling the parts so they put it inside now. Damn cannibals! Well I can't say much because I would do the same.

Well I was driving home from taking my son to the doctor (which I am so happy he was in my wife?s car on the way home), when I saw a cat in the road. I swerved to avoid it and hit some loose dirt. I am not sure of the rest. I blacked out. The next thing I know I was in a recovery room at UAB hospital in Birmingham. Sorry pet owners in Birmingham but if I see any more animals oh well........

Hitting a tree at 50 MPH and the Cab looks like it was hardly even touched! The H2 sacraficed itself well for you!
Glad to hear you'll be OK!

Re: R.I.P.
All that matters is that you're OK and the Hummer did it's job to make sure you're OK.
That's quite an impact. Were you wearing your seatbelt?

Seatbelt was on. Thats what broke the ribs, so I couldn't imagine what damage would have been done without it.

Thank God you came out with minor personal damage! Too bad for your H2 though...

Re: R.I.P.
Glad to hear you made it out okay (as okay as you could hope for).
I'm sure that your truck is up in Hummer heaven with my H3. Sorry to see a smashed H2, but glad to know it gave it all up for you.
Send us a pic of the new one when you get it.
If you find a H2 in the Dallas area, PM me and I can check it out for you.
Again, glad to hear your okay!!!
