ALPHA upgrades
Got my H1 Alpha softtop.
Loving it.
Just wanted to know what you guys might suggest as performance upgrades? Not mechanically minded so not sure whats available.
Also im finding the indicator stalk to be so cheap feeling i think its going to snap every time I touch it. Is there a higher quality unit I could fit?
many thanks

Re: ALPHA upgrades
Congrats. For all your H1 needs call down to Travis@ www.rubberduck4x4.com. The turn stalk probably is what it is, try bitching at the dealer for a new one, maybe yours is a bit worn out?

Re: ALPHA upgrades
Many thanks - I remember seeing the CNN hummer a while back they did I think
Their website is down just now - will try the dealer on the stalk - I had the car shipped from states to canada so havent had the truck into the dealer yet - still got plenty warranty left so maybe it might be covered.
Anyone tried a mod out and found it offered visible performance boosts or perhaps something you found should be avoided a waste of money?

Re: ALPHA upgrades
Congrats on the new rig!
I was told to leave it mod-less until the warranty is up, but I'm sure someone has done it. Let me know what you do. I need ideas.

Re: ALPHA upgrades
Upgrade the computer. It will give you the most bang for the buck, will be easiest to install, the safest for your engine, and easily removed if need be.

Re: ALPHA upgrades
If you are going to wheel it, it would be a wise idea to remove the power add ons at the trail head. I would put the test pipe on to help it breath a bit better, and as the site says and EGT gauge would be a good addition.
