Default PO449 error code

Hey guys, truck just recently threw the PO449 error code, the EVAP Emissions mess. I think it's the common Solenoid Vent Valve that's causing the problems. I've already gone through the "tighten the gas cap" deal, cleared the code, and it returned. Would rather do this on my own since going to a dealership costs waaaaaaaay more than it should. Where can I find this piece under the truck? Any other input is also appreciated! Truck runs fine btw..

The fuel tank evap solenoid attaches to the rock rail on the drivers side, about halfway back.

Check out this thread: http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=41952

I did the gas cap, evap solenoid, and eventually found the purge valve to the culprit.

The purge valve is up front (#8 on the diagram): http://parts.nalleygmc.com/showAssem...modelYear=2005

Thanks man! Now I know where to look. I'll probably order the part soon
