Hi All,

Quick question on the operation of the sunroof. When I use the express open feature the sun roof retracts (what I thougt was)all the way. However tonight I accidently hit the back button and then sunroof retracted another 2 inches or so.

Is this normal behavior or should the roof retract all the way back.

The H2 roofs do this too. They're called "rest stops" and I thin it had something to do with saftey. There was a thread on this in the H2 tech section somewhere.

Try this, have all your windows up and open that roof up all of the way past the rest stop. Yours ears will get buffered from the wind while driving and it sucks! But if you only open it to the first rest stop and leave it there you don't get that with the windows up. With the windows down it doesn't matter.

Good to know! Boy, I wish it would have said something in the manual, that extra 2" or so is nice to have and I wouldn't have known if it wasn't for chance.

I appreciate you feedback! I must say this is the BEST sunroof ever. When it is open it just about feels like a convertible you get so much sun and air! Great job Hummer!
