so i go to get into the 3 this morning, opened the garage door.............crank up the 3 and go to put it in reverse.........no indicator light, no tach, no speedometer, no info center.........nothing........but i had to get to work so i just started driving.
About a mile into the drive everything comes on and appears fine.
This is the second time this has happened, but the first time was much shorter.
Should i be extremely worried?
I doubt a dealers service department could reproduce these symtoms.
HELP????????????????????

If everything ran ok, and all other functions (radio, HVAC, etc.) still work, it could be a loose I/P cluster connector. Just a guess since I'm not there. Possibly it did not lock into place during assembly at the factory.
I would pull the I/P and check to make sure the connector is seated ok.
Just grab hold of the top of the trim panel around the cluster, and pull back. It is held in place with four or six retainers. Then remove four screws from cluster, and slowly pull cluster back and check the connector.
