Exclamation H2 for 4 door raptor?

Hello I'm the proud owner of a 2008 H2. I know how weak the front suspension is on these but I don't want to upgrade it with cosmetic parts.
I want about the same capabilities as a 4 door raptor. That would entail what parts and part numbers. Also who would you recommend for upgraded brakes (is brembo the only choice? if so I know they have different quality calipers and I know that their street calipers ARE NOT the same as their RACE calipers. )
I would like to
1. keep the stock look of the hummer ,ie rims
2. Need WAY more braking power
3. keep all the dust out of the cabin (massive amounts of dust coming through vents even on recirculate. Needs Charcoal filter system of some sort.)
4. I live in Vegas is the stock radiator good enough?
5. I know nothing is indestructible but how close can i get with your recommended parts for the front suspension?

Are you trying to build a pre-runner style H2?

The masses will chime in shortly I'm sure but if you don't really need a massive amount of lift you could go with the standard Cognito treatment. Meaning;
Cognito upper control arm kit
Cognito/Bilstein shocks
Cognito sway bar end links
Cognito pitman/idler support kit
Cognito idler pivot kit
Fabtech or Rancho steering stabilizer
Rare Parts or Kryptonite tie rods

I would also buy a set of 'green' torsion bar keys to go with the Cognito UCA kit. If dampening becomes an issue, Cognito sells a hoop kit to run a dual front shock setup.

I can't comment much on the breaks, other than I know of the Brembo kit, same goes with the cabin filter. I would consider an electric fan kit, your radiator should be good considering there are a good amount of guys here that run their trucks in the hot climates, although once again, not totally sure.

Thanks for the quick response. Yeah I don't need tons of lift. I just want it to be capable of E and E . cause when the **** goes down I want to be able to drive fast maneuver AND STOP like nobody's business! Funny thing about the movies is they never show any stock car in chase scenes lose the brakes or the fluid!! totally unrealistic

Because if Rod Hall can take this thing to baja and monkey stomp the competition. Then to have something as close as possible to his setup would be ideal for me. If its good enough for baja its good enough for me.

why dont you find out what he runs in his H2 and buy it?

im nto sure on the rules, but didnt he run the H2 stock?
so no aftermarket parts? or are aftermarket OEM replacements allowed?
like beefier tie rods? UCA's?

i know he ran cognito parts, but other than that...

Wink Re: H2 for 4 door raptor?

i like it.
i run the base 87 tune, it has more pep, and helps the h2 move faster.
