Default Chrome Door Handle Buckets

I notice a lot of you have the chrome door handle buckets on your trucks, which I love. From what I understand, to install these you need to take the door apart..... Did anyone do this themselves and if not, how much did they charge you at the dealership (how many hours). Did anything get messed up in the process. Looking at getting SMA ones on Ebay. Just not sure what other hardware i would need to do the install (or have it done somewhere). Anyone have any idea or experience with this.

Brother get it done if you don't have some time to spare. I did it myself but it was a pain!!!! Trying to get to those allen heads behind the window glass sucked ass. And that was with the window all the way up!!! The rear ones are easy to do but the front ones are what kills you. Also you don't need special tools. GOOD LUCK!!

It can be done in a couple of hours. I replaced my buckets and I found the easiest thing to do was remove the front glass and channels. The rear is accessible without much hassle.

I went the cheap and easy way 3m tap ones done in 5 min or less and looks the same and if I want to replace them dont have to go back to the headach of taken the door apart. I have had the same on the Hummer for 3 yrs now with no issues.
