DTC C0083
Recenty, "SERV 4WD" appears often, and I asked a shop to check it. But, they were not able to duplicate an error. They said DTC C0083 remained in PCM. Does anyone know what DTC C0083 is for ?

Re: DTC C0083
PCM does not retain C codes, they are retained by EBCM, TCCM, SDM or BCM.
Second, there is no such code for the H3. They either copied it down incorrectly, or they are pulling your leg.
You say shop, are you saying a dealer? If not, take it to the dealer and have them diagnose it. If they find a history code (a code set in the computer without the service engine light or trouble diplayed on the DIC), they can diagnose and hopefuly, repair.

Thank you for your reply.
In JAPAN, there are two methods to buy Hummer H3. One is to buy from GM authorized dealers, and the other is to buy from shop who can directly import from U.S.. I bought my H3 from the latter. That's why I described "Shop". But, they have Tech2 and are able to check a history code.
Perhaps, I heard it incorrectly, I will ask them again.
