Over at GMInsider someone posted that the Hummer will get the new GMT900 interior starting in 2007. Could this be possible? That they will upgrade the interior even though the body isn't due for an update till at least 2008?
Anyone know any truth to the rumor?

any word on what the body or frame will be like? With the current state of fuel costs do you think they will downsize the H2?

I know some stuff about what they're going to do, most of which cannot be told in public.
I wouldn't worry about them downsizing the H2 because of gas costs. Most people who are dropping 50-60 grand on a vehicle find ways to make the gas work.

Then why in the hell is the market flooded with used H2s selling well below blue book value?

I bet a lot are from people overextended on the loan payments who are trying to cut their losses.

Because if you are buying used, you are not dropping as much money as you might not be able to afford a new one.

I think you missed my point. People foolishly buy something (a new H2 for example) because it is "cool" and then find out they can't afford either the gas or the payments, or both. That causes a market flooded with used H2s, driving market prices on them down. Sure, that's great for buyers in that market, but it sucks for the sellers (be they the fools I spoke of, or others in different circumstances).

I agree completely. I hate the current gas prices but I just don't understand how someone can buy a vehicle like the H2 and then have to sell it because gas is too expensive. Guess foolish people are everywhere. I read a article the other day that late credit card payments have hit a record high and they blame it on gas prices.

TXSUT, I mean preyObird...that is why people should buy and not lease! I think leasers are not even considered as "real hummer folks".
