Default Moab March Madness!!

Took the Jeep and the Hummer out to Moab last and had an absolute blast!

I ran Pritchett Canyon, Cliffhanger, and Hells Revenge in the Jeep, while my wife drove Hells Revenge in the Hummer. I did Escalator and Hells gate unstrapped, but decided that I didn't want to tear up the H3, so we didn't do those in it. My wife did drive the smaller of the two Hot Tubs though.

Very cool. What dates were you there? I think I might have seen you driving in town. Did you get a chance to stop by the Hummer display in town before they left?

Thanks guys!

I was there March 26th -30th. When were you there? I saw several H3's while we were cruising around town.

I was there 20th-29th. Grey H3 with winch bumper and lots of red mud. There was a group of 8-10 of us (some with Jeeps).

Sounds like you missed the GM/Hummer folks. They had a display setup at the Chevy dealership with the H3T, Rod Hall's race H3, the Safari H2, and some engineering trucks.

Nice shots, impressive. The terrain is quite challenging there!

Nice pics of Hells Revenge. Where's the pics of Pritchett Canyon? Did you take your stock H3 on Pritchett Canyon? Or did you just drive the Jeep thru there?

Which tires are you talking about?

The H3 is running the tires that come with the adventure package (mine is not the Adv. package though) and they did above average.

The Jeep is running Maxxis Trepadors. They are the best tire I have ever run in Moab. I've run three sets of tires in the last year and they are by far the most grippy. The Trepadors are extremely hard to get though.

I only took the H3 on Hells Revenge. No way a mostly stock H3 is getting through Pritchett- not without body damage and winching over 3/4's of the obstacles.
