Well, here's another spy shot. Please note that this cannot be H3, as the grill is horizontal, not vertical. Apart from that, flame it away!

Hmmm, doesn't look like the slanted windshield will make the cut. We need something a little more upright.

I agree, that design is simply too aerodynamic to be considered part of our beloved breadbox family. I've said that I'll reserve judgement until the final product appears, but that windshield could use some raking.

When has a test vehicle ever looked like the production truck. They are testing the components of the H3 not what it looks like. Remember the H2 components where put on a yukon for testing purposes before going to designing what it looks like.

Yah don't be fooled by the looks, it is ment to fool you. When I did testing for GM we drove cars that were litterly thrown together and looked like total crap. I would say that one is testing the drive train.

I wonder if the H3 will have a sloid rear axle.

I still believe that the top part of this vehicle is just temporary, and the true charastics of Hummer will be added. Maybe their just testing the chasis and suspension at this point.

I agree with zazing, this thing isn't at all how this truck is going to look. Right now it looks like an S10 with funny windows. The grill reminds me of the old Chevy 454 red/black pick-up grill. I just hope they take the time, money and effort to make the H3 better off-road than the equivalent Jeep product. I did talk to a few people who said they thought the suspension was going to be fully independent, which is very interesting.

One more thing, I followed the development of the H2 from day 1 and was absolutely amazed when I first saw it in a magazine and further amazed when I saw it in person. I am quite confident it will be a similar feeling with the H3.

If it were a test for the engine capabilities why would the be showing pictures of the outside? Shouldn't they be of what's under the hood?
