That thing was HUGE! There was actually a campsite just off to the right of the road so we only had go thru that to get around the tree.
I'd been through there last year and that thing wasn't there. It's too big for a regular chainsaw. The forest service will have to fix it.

The bottom rung was about 7' off the ground.
