You can add a back camera to your Hummer in the rear receiver.

I would prefer a beeping radar system (like in BMW). Where to put the video screen? I've already replaced on of the back up lights with one of those with build in back up alarm. JCJ

I HAVE THE CAMERA. WHEN WE PICKED UP OUR H2 THEY ACCIDENDENTLY PLACED IT ON THE TRUCK SO I GOT IT FOR $750 TOTAL (ORIGINAL PRICE WAS $1500). ANYHOW THE CAMERA IS PLACE ON THE HITCH AND YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE IT .... THE SCREEN IS TO THE LEFT OF THE REAR VIEW MIRROR. ITS PERFECT. I SUGGEST EVERYONE GET ONE. YOU DON'T WANT TO BACK INTO A LITTLE HONDA!!!

When possible, please kindly take a picture and share with us, love to see the screen on the left of rearview mirror, on the inside roof? then it got to be small, does it block your view thru the windshield? what size is the screen? Any brand and specs? color or b/w? how wide can you see? I don't think you can remotely control the agle, but that would be even nicer. I am very interested, not that I worry about the Hondas, but this is neat 007-like. I have been eagerly want to add something, but simply have not seen anything worthy of my money and time.

You can see photos of the product at the Link provided in the first post. However, I would like to know how Judy has the screen mounted to the left of the rear view mirror.

I've seen the camera mounted in the rear trailer hitch. pretty trick set up. The screen is pretty small and unobtrusive. Sorry, but I didn't measure the screen. From what I remember(it was about a month ago) it was roughly the same height as the rear-view mirror and not much wider than it's height. I'd get one but it would be perpetually caked with mud.

How about the function of the back up camera during the dark hours?
Will the back up lights provide enough view of not to be flattened objects?
And what is this "night view" the reviewers keep writing and wishing about?

I played w/ the camera at night without the back-up lights being on and was very impressed with the camera's performance. I'd be interested to find out what the Lux is on the camera.

I test drove an H2 with this setup. I recommend it highly. To address some of the questions based on what I saw, I test drove at night and it worked well, however car lights behind you glare a great deal and you can't make out the picture. I didn't find this too disconcerting, since you really just need to know if someone is behind you and what direction they are moving if they are trying to pass you, which this does. It appears to work superbly under normal light conditions. I was impressed with the clarity of images just a foot away, which is good for parking and backing up. Someone asked about mounting, and it appears that the monitor hangs off of a small bar that is fastened not on the windshield but the roof. Not clear how this is done, but I jiggled it and it was secure. The monitor is unobtrusive and you get used to it quickly, in case that's a concern. The monitor can manually be turned on and off, and can also be hooked up to turn on with the engine, or only when backing up, which are nice features. The camera plugs into the hitch lighting plug in the back, so I suppose it gets a "reverse" signal from there when you shift in reverse so it can turn on. The one concern I have and the dealer acknowledged is when you drive in the rain the camera will get covered and disrupts vision. I personally would rather place this inside behind the rear window and windshield wiper. Will also protect the camera from theft, as it appears one could pull the camera out of the hitch fairly easily.
