Umm, I am pretty sure it is a violation of forum rules to make a post like that without any pictures. I am pretty sure the penalty is bannishment.

Re: The Flat black Beast
that flat black paint looks awesome!
did you get that done? or did you buy it that way?
i was always wondering how that paint scheme looks after a while...does the black look faded or lighter...in areas?
doesn't that chip easier?
regardless, that color is sweet.

Well I actually just bought the truck about 10 days ago. It was already painted. I have a receipt for $5K from R Dream - they do paint for Brabus and CEC in LA.
A lot of the paint jobs that have the matte black are from one day paint and body or Earl Sheib and cost anywhere from $500 - $800 and they fade from what I hear.
I hope it holds up....either way I like it!!
I'm gonna paint the rims to match for now or the guy I bought it form has a set of custom 24" Giovanni's that cost like 10K he will give me for CHEAP.
They are deep dish and matte black to match the paint.
The H2 was used in a few music videos
Thanks for your comments dvl57

Re: The Flat black Beast
Awesome looking Hummer.
I just purchased a 2011 Harley Davidson Night Rod in Denim Black color. The bike has the HD orange deck stripes occross the tank and rear fender. I am going to paint my H2 the same. The dealer told me that the denim black paint is designed to fade, like denim jeans.
Thanks for posting those pics.

It is a 2003, but was just painted in January 2010
Like I said previously, it was painted by the company that does the Mercedes Benz brabus customized paint and body work.
I sure hope it hold up too.

If it start to look like Sh*t. I will let you know.

Well, I didn't really mean it as a mod, I just meant that it had it. Before I bought this one I looked at several that did not have the seat. Same with the tire carrier. Seen several that had been removed and the tire put inside.

Re: The Flat black Beast
Did they not paint the roof to match the rest of it? Not picking it apart... just looks shiney vs. flat.
