Default Quick fix for drivers side A/C dual control

So I have a problem with the a/c dual control. The drivers side blows super hot air and the passenger side is cold. Now it summer time and I didn't fix the problem by replacing drivers side actuator. All I did was drop the glove box lower cover and after you drop it , you will see an electrical connect. All I did was unplug the connection and the a/c started to blow cold air. So far it's been blowing cold air for 3 days now. so when it starts to get cold out ill plug it back in and get hot air. I know it's not a fix but at least it will get you some cold air in the blazing heat of summertime till you pay the $150 bucks for the part.

Default Re: Quick fix for drivers side A/C dual control

Thanks deathshead.

These are things I like to see.
The quick fix for a problem until the real fix can be obtained. (like my nylon bolt temp shifter fix - going strong for a year now)
The plus side to something like this... is down here in the south.... a/c's run constant so something like that would actually be a real fix since most down here dont ever use their heater.
