Just took the H3 out for the first time a week after buying it. Definately surpassed my expectations.

Nice!

I like the the video of you going around the slalom.

No, after much debate I decided against it because I'm going to put some Mudgrapplers on there, plus I'm much more interested in the gas/spring suspension than just an upgrade leaf spring setup.

The videos don't do justice to the fun we had this weekend. The second day is when we had the most fun, but we had 2 trucks and no one wanting to stand outside taping, so we don't have any footage.

Outstanding! That is what a Hummer should look like, nicely done in earth tones.

I drove my friend to the gas station with the truck looking like this and while I waited outside for him, this guy approached me, knocked on my window and asked to take a picture, since it was the first dirty Hummer he's ever seen. He said it gave him a new respect for the brand. Take this as a lesson, get out and GET EM DIRTY!

I'm sure glad you had fun with the H3. The dirt splatter surely does show the location for better 'blockage' off the front tires.

But please, limit the fun to true open and legal trails and not someone's property. Even if it's your property, running over shrubbrage clearly shows discontent. The 'greenies' would clearly take this out of context and show how the hummer and its owner can hurt the natural earth.

Your signature didn't show a location. See if there are some local 4wd clubs or other Hummer owners willing to get offroad. Wheeling with others.....lets just say its a learning experience for all.

It's my property you see me driving on. It was a weed anyways, not a "shrub", but I understand your concern.

TJC,
we are gonna have a convoy to Tellico in March. MikeB in Clayton and AllDunn in Pinehurst are coming (I think). Your welcome to come along. See this thread for updates:

also, in case you don't know there is one spot in Raleigh that we've been too. Not a lot of area, but better than nothing. Let me know if you need directions.

Thats is exactly my point of view:

"Why keep a Hummer clean??" They keep telling to wash my H3 and I said not, It's made to look dirty, muddy. It looks sexier that way!!!
