Default Hummers at Winfield

Being an old retired fart has its advantages. Today I went up the road to Winfield, MO where they've had a few levee breaks. The town is fine, but the agricutural levees failed. As I pulled into the lot, I noticed two lifted Dodge pickups being loaded with bags. The National Guard asked if I wouldn't mind hauling in my H2SUT, so I put down the back window and folded everything down and loaded up with bags - they even provided a piece of blue plastic for the floor.
It was so nice to have everyone appreciate what Hummers can do and the fact that 22 inches of water is no big deal. The National Guard did make the different kids that took turns riding out with me wear personal flotation devices, and they gave me one for myself to keep on the floor.
Not one bad word, just tons of appreciation. After about 8 trips I headed home and the mayor who was at the sand bag pile offerred his thanks for bringing my Hummer - it was my pleasure to pass on his words of thanks for what the Hummer can do to Hummer owners everywhere. NO finger waving or snears at the Hummer here!!! After driving in 10 to 20 inches of water for most of the day, you think I should change transmission, transfer case or differential fluids???

Way to go! Glad to see you had the time to help. Fluids should be okay, just get a lube and all should be fine.

Cheers!
