Obviously, this H-1 Hummer has been garage kept and never seen an H-1 off road rock climbing sponsored event.

What's this mean? He beats the crap out of it at Crozet, but doesn't go to Hummer Happenings?

Maybe they only drove it through construction sites and rock quarries? Looks nice, but the '02 does not have lockers.

I realize that, but at that price you would think it would already have them.

Re: KenP....Nice H1 in Richmond, VA
it seems the smart thing to do is not to pay for accessories on h1's, but to pay for good maintenance and lack of abuse (when you sell, seldom do accessories add much to the price). Better to pay a premium for peace of mind -- less haedaches later (hopefully). Stuff like lockers/rockers/racks/fancy doo-dads can all be added relatively cheap and easy.
just looked it up at kbb.com and the "worth" was pretty close to what the owner is asking (if he's being truthful in his description). Maybe it's not such a bad deal? I'm not familiar with the later model trucks -- I prefer earlier model trucks with less frills to wheel hard.

Dont bother looking at the KBB. if you need to finance it none of the banking establishments use that book. your better off looking at NADA to see what it's value should be.

Re: KenP....Nice H1 in Richmond, VA
You are right about KBB being a bit inflated, I use it only as a reference and would never rely on it alone -- especially it's "retail" prices, which are insane! But they are not too far apart. NADA doesn't have mileage to choose from, so this truck having 28k miles may not be reflected in the price. The avg mileage for a 2002 is close to 70k miles.
NADA average retail $47,500, high $54,000
KBB private party, good condition, 67,000 miles - $48,675
Kbb private party, good condition, 28,000 miles - $56,000
$56,000 maybe a bit on the high side, but imho mileage should be taken into account.
