Water Leak?
just got a h2 03 few months ago, noticed that the driver side carpet is soaked, i did a search and see that theres a problem with the marker lights, theres no water leaking from the roof inside, so it must be coming down the piller, would the marker lights cause this? were are the drain tubes?

Re: Water Leak?
Go to the tech section, there are numerous threads on this. I would check the sunroof drains first (if you have a sunroof), then unscrew the marker lights and use some silicone around the wire holes. A few people have had leaks around the black pastic trim and the channel for the roof join, but that is rare, although it will go right down the pillar if it leaks. Lastly, some of those that have had a few windshields have had sealing problems after the third or fourth one.

Re: Water Leak?
My leak was from the roof seam drain channel above the passenger side door. The factory sealant starts to crack after a while allowing the water in and it goes straight down the "A" pillar.

Re: Water Leak?
Check your rubber boots inside the door hinge area that the wiring harness goes through. On mine water was coming down the A pillar, then coming inside the truck through the boot. I covered the sealing area with black RTV, and no more problems!

If you search for "Leak" in the H2 section you will see it's been a problem since '03.
It could be the roof marker lights or if you have a sunroof, it could be the drain tube. Both are easy to fix.

Re: Water Leak?
It took a long time and several return trips for them to find my water leak. Turned out to be the roof seam over the passenger side front door. My lawyer said no use to use the Lemon Law claim as it's not safety related and they never refused to try and make repairs. Finally is repaired, but the sealant over the driver's side is cracked, just waiting for it to leak.
Hope you get a buy back, but don't get your hopes up.

Re: Water Leak?
Perform a search and you'll see all of the details from my issues. Some of the dash parts were replaced due to water stains and the headliner was replaced several times due to them breaking them while trying to install.
