Just trying to see what kind of deals I might expect to see in the next month on '04 models. I've seen up to $6000 off on '03 H2s, would $3000-#3500 be expecting too much on a '04? I think it's more then fair considering all these dealers were charging a premium over MSRP just a year ago.

I was talking to a dealer yesterday. On a 2003 he was saying the window sticker would include tax and license (8.25% tax and over $1,200 for the license)and 5 oil changes.

For a 2004 he wanted list.

Hope this helps.

FEVER,

That seems like a pretty good price. Was that offered to you, did you have to haggle for that price, or do you know someone?

I just ordered an '04 Pewter at $1,000 over invoice. Imbedded is a 3% Advertising fee.

MSRP on my config = $55.7
Invoice + $1k + adv fee = $53.2

Piker,

It was offered by one dealer and matched by a closer dealer (Rountree). They have yet to give me a firm figure. Production is scheduled to start 11/03/03. They say they will have INVOICE in hand that week I'm looking forward to see what they come up with compared to what I have found on the net.[url=http://www.kbb.com/]

Did anyone else have to pay for that advertising fee on top of the price of the truck?

Piker

Everyone pays it!! Few know it is imbedded in the Dealer INVOICE. What is important is either your spread over invoice or under MSRP. I can get you (pvt note) the "invoice" price on most of the options.

SRFCASTER,

I'm still a little confused. This is what I got from what you just said:

Lets say I buy a 2004 base H2 for MSRP. According to the price list that Dan posted, to leave the showroom with an H2 I would pay $49180+815 for destination= $49995 plus sales tax and whatever DMV/reg./inspection costs, right? Is this right or will I have to pay one of these LAM Dealer Contribution, or LAM Group Contribution charges from Dan's list?

BTW thanks for the numbers Dan.

Piker,

Last Thursday night, we picked up our new 2004 Yellow H2 from Hummer of Sherman Oaks.(http://www.casaautomotivegroup.com/hummer/)

We dealt with Bob Nelson who is the fleet manager over at Hummer of Sherman Oaks and he gave us an unbeatable deal. If you are looking for an H2, Hummer of Sherman Oaks is the biggest volume H2 dealer in the nation. They sell 75-100 H2s per month and they have a bunch of 03s in stock and a ton of 04s in stock. If you want you can email Bob Nelson at: bobnelson@casaautomotivegroup.com Tell him Shawn from L.A. Performance Division referred you for an even better deal.

We checked with almost every Hummer dealer and they offered us the best discount off of our 04. What was really nice was that they are located right down the street from our company, so it was easy to pick it up from them. One of my brother in laws is going to get his 04 H2 from the same dealer because of the awesome deal they offered him.

If you contact them and need an H2 inspected before it gets transported out to you, let me know. I will personally go out and check it out from top to bottom to make sure you are getting a perfectly flawless 04 H2.

Shawn

I just an even beter deal than some of the other here..
I found a dealer that would give me $250 over invoice if I take a car they have on the lot..
Then they called back and offered an even better deal topping their own offer.
A 2004 H2 at dealer cost..!!
However I think that I may just pay the one dealer the $500 over invoice to order one the way I want it..

You'll have to have a look at the sticker or ask the dealer. You may have to pay for one, both, or neither depending on the dealer. I think most charge both though....

For example, go to www.crowleyauto.com and get into the Hummer inventory. They list the LAM charges right in with the vehicle options.

Hope you're limber, because you'll be grabbing your ankles on an '04. Take advantage of the huge discounts on an '03.

DRTY, I agree. The most competative deals are on an 03 right now, but with it being the end of the month, the dealers have to move the "Oldest" units on their lots. That means that if they don't sell something that has been there longer than a month, then they have to pay inventory tax on what is on their lot. '03 models fit this to a T.

L.A.P.D., are you a certified H2 tech?

quote:
If you contact them and need an H2 inspected before it gets transported out to you, let me know. I will personally go out and check it out from top to bottom to make sure you are getting a perfectly flawless 04 H2.

No offense, but for aftermarket tuning, I may give you business, but for a factory check up, I'll have a certified H2 tech do it. Anyways, the way I see it, since aftermarket tuning will void a warranty faster than Arrianna Huffington's political career disintegrated, I won't be in the market for your services on a HUMMER product for at least four years. Now if you can give me some tips on rebuilding a '66 Vette.......

Drag,
This guy(lapd) is just some freeloader trying to suck up to the forum members.

Why would his inspection be any better than the dealers' What an asskissing douche.
There's got to be a dealer closer to you that you can deal with. From personal experience you don't want to buy a vehicle that is readily available in your area from the other side of the country. Besides, I bet LAPD is schmoozing up to the dealer telling him how he's got this big network of customers that he'll send their way for a fee. What a skunk.
