Anyone out there know how to remove the driverside sunvisor? If you have a service manual and could look it up for me I would appreciate it. On the base of the sunvisor at the headliner is a small cutout for possibly the insertion of a small screw driver. Once its in there I don't know if I push or pry.

Spike,

Here is what I found:

1) Insert a suitable flat-bladed tool into the access hole to disengage the locking retainer.

2) Push the sunshade elbow up and rotate it to unlock the anchor attachment.

3) Pull the sunshade down to remove it from the body.

It didn't say anything about wires for the lighted mirror...for that I guess you are on your own...

No problem...

I've been thinking of taking mine out to gain a "bit" more visibility. I'm tall and never need the visor...but in looking at where it sits, I think removing it would add some visibility.

How do I get it back on, so that is locks the headliner into place? Right now it is pushed in...but I don't have it locked. In other words, I can pull the whole headliner down still.

Thanks guys!

Mine has not scews...it is this weird slot and rotate deal going on. That might be aftermarket...but not sure if this is something they changed along the way.
