Default BFG All-Terrains Owners - Switch Back to Wrangler RTS?

I purchased 285/75/16 BFG All-Terrains yesterday and am debating whether or not I want to keep them. It's the first time I have purchased AT tires and am wondering if I am just not used to them yet. I feel as though they put out a somewhat annoying hum on the highway. Is it the tread pattern? Would Goodyear Duratracs put off the same exact road noise (sound not volume). Has anyone purchased new tires and went back to the Wrangler RTS because they were dis-satisfied with their purchase?

Also, stepping up to the 285's BFGs did you see a drop in MPG. I drive mostly highway; what should i expect?

HUM- yes but not much more than stock. They are AT's. AT's Better on street performance and handling but not quite ready for the full off road experience. Yes 285's will get you just a hair less gas mileage than stock 32's. At this point whats a few miles per gallon between firends :-) LOL.

The Duratracs will Hum louder, look better and waste more of your gas :-) but will get you in and out of more off-road terrain.

I will never own AT's on any of my hummers again since I like to play off road. If I just stayed on the street you made the right decision. IMHO
