Default side mounted lights

anyone have any lights mounted on the side of their truck, im thinking about mounting some on the side of my roof rack just so i can see on the side of the truck sort of like a "work" light. just wondering what would be a good set of lights to mount up there?

depends on how much you want to spend....some rigid industries would be small and kick ass. Same mod is on my list. Probably drop a grand on those... or you could get some regular incadescent floods to mount under $300 or so.

the rigids are led correct? so less current draw. but how bright are they? it would look sick having two led bars going down the side. i will probably use a cheaper light as i dont think i would use them enough to spend the money on rigid's

You dont necessarly have to go full bars, the rigid leds come in three beam patterns- Spot,Flood, Spot/Flood Combo (driving). Plus there is a diffused lense to spread the light out wider and closer.

Two of the diffused floods on each side would light up pretty good. Youtube has a ton of videos of rigid lightind.
