Looks great! That's a great idea to also do the CAI tube. I think I'll have Stuart finish mine.

Re: My Dash kit by OEMdash - Carbon Fiber
Have you seen the red carbon fiber that matches your paint?
I would also do the Volant box and lid to make it look awesome!
Make sure to mark the most visible surfaces on each part (tube and box) as this is a dip process. His guys are awesome, but round parts can be tricky.

That DOES look awesome! I am hoping to have my steering wheel done soon and now I AM worried that I will be wanting it ALL done. That is so sweet!

Re: My Dash kit by OEMdash - Carbon Fiber
Wow! I would do that also, if I also had the Black interior.
I, like H2Woo, have the Wheat, which looks more like Whole Wheat or Oatmeal than any kind of Tan.

Re: My Dash kit by OEMdash - Carbon Fiber
Looks great. Have you thought about using black hex-head bolts for that? I saw someone on another thread that installed them....might be a great match.

Re: My Dash kit by OEMdash - Carbon Fiber
Yeah, I tried to locate some the other day in fact. Problem was that no one had them in the same length as the stock bolts. Phil was the one who did it. I wonder if he used shorter ones?

Re: My Dash kit by OEMdash - Carbon Fiber
I got some black bolts for my Denali wood dash. I'm not sure but I think the factory bolts are 6 X 40 mm or something like that. The store where I got them had 7 in the correct size and so I got 3 more that were 10 mm shorter. THE SHORTER BOLTS WORKED MUCH BETTER!!
I wish I had gotten all short bolts. When you install them you will know what I am talking about. Those 40mm take forever to screw in.
