Default "Engine Power Decreasing"

One of our hummer limos today had the message center say "Engine Power reduced" twice. The car then started to lose speed, and the driver pulled over and had to turn it off then back on and it kinda reset. What would cause this kinda problem? The air filter was just cleaned this week, any ideas?

Thank you, I have been getting a check stability system light on my 03 Cadillac. I have not noticed any driving issues other than annoying info board. Did you fix your limo?

never had it happen to me but I recall it happening to a buddy some time ago. said it was electrical and had something to do with the grounding of the vehicle.

check the yellow wire at the TAC motor (throttle body). Sometimes it breaks inside the insulation and if you tug on it the wire will stretch. If that's not it, get it to someone with a techII to properly diagnose it.

We checked the yellow wire and it didnt appear broken or loose. We switched the throttle body wires with that of one of our other h2's and that fixed the problem. Dealer wanted $250 + $200 for install, we ordered it online for like $150 and installed it ourselves, the problem seems to be fixed now.
