My rear windshield wiper has been "shuttering" everytime I turn it on. Called the dealer and they said i need a new motor. If you have this problem or are considering a 2005 H2 check the rear wiper before you buy.

If it is a 2005, (or 2004 or 2003) then it ought to be covered under the warranty. I know it is a hassle, but it is all part of the "shake down" and ironing out those few things that go prematurely wrong.

If the stuttering is because the motor is acting up, then sure the motor is at fault. But are you SURE it is being caused by the motor? I have seen where the friction of the rubber of the blade and the glass surface is such that a stuttering happens at some point of the wipe. It was a simple change of the blade, just the rubber, cured the problem for me.

Good luck.

I thought about it being the wiper blade itself too, and when I talked to the guy at my dealerships service depo he said its most likely the motor because hes had to change two of them so far. So I figured why not, get a brand new motor, cause i aint payin for it!
