Toyo 35" With Adventure package.
Help me make up my mind here.
My H3 has the Adventure Package, and it fully loaded, plus a DOI Winch Mount, T-Max 9000lb Winch, Rocksliders, GPS etc etc. My 4 wheeling is in Az & Colorado around Ouray. I am not a hardcore 4 wheeler, but will not lay day down when confronted with a challenge. I love to go out and do the same hard trails my D-90 & Scout 11 have done in the past. The stock bridgestone A/Ts do the job at hand, but a different tire over rocks would benifit. Here is the question.
I am considering going to the Toyo 315s/75/16 MTs. I do travel 30 miles each way to work, and do not want to compromise the truck just for wheeling in it.
Will the 35"s do THAT much to spoil the fuel economy
Without doing the torsion bar turn, will the tires stuff into the body a LOT more.
New alignment & headlight re-align ????
IF i did the torsion bar tweak, would it be noticable on my treck to work each day.

My personal experience:
You will not notice that much difference in fuel economy...1-3MPG. I put my 35 BFG M/T KO's at 21K and now have 38K. Torsion bars were done at the same time.
There is a difference in ride and handling, but I like it better.

I didn't really notice a different ride w/t-bar lift, I kept 33's but changed to bfg m/t and lost about 2mpg

Re: Toyo 35" With Adventure package.
I have the Toyo 315s/75/16 MTs, no torsion bar adjustment and the ride is great, for being MTs they really don't make that much noise and make the H3 look really cool. I drive 110+ miles every work DAY, and get 13mpg and that's with the GOBI stealth rack. Seeing other cars with little and big kids faces smashed up against there windows saying "Coowell, I want one of those" makes me feel like I'm in a real Tonka truck.
