Default Suv mistake

http://2010.newsweek.com/top-10/tact...v-mistake.html

This article is stupid

"In the days following 9/11, Manhattan?s West Side Highway was filled with abandoned SUVs covered in dust, looking like so many beached whales. It was an incredible display of how useless they were in crisis"

Oh, but a Honda or Toyota would be much more useful!

Default Re: Suv mistake

what an idiot. seriously? people were fleaing the city on foot because everything was shut down for security reasons, not because the SUVs were 'useless'.

Add to that useless comment the "Likewise, the Iraq War itself turned out to be billions of dollars of negative advertising for GM, with abundant images of destroyed, burned-out Hummers filling the airwaves."

I don't remember seeing any Prius' doing wheelies in the background because of the ability to survive IEDs??? Those terrible HUMMERS...come on...

next this F@#%HOLE guy is going to blame baby diapers for the increased levels of poop particles floating in the atmosphere.

Kitman is obviously about as educated as a T-Rex. How does someone like allowed to publish such crap? To be running his mouth with such opinionated comments that are misdirected and irrelevant is irresponsible, and for newsweek to sindicate it is pathetic. I'm going to submit my entry for the 2010 National Magazine Award, if an @ssclown like him can win, it must be open season for the educated masses! LOL

What a Jackass. Yeah they should have sold everyone a mini car . They sold what people where asking for a large SUV. In the 1990's how many were driving small cars .15% of the population. How many wanted an SUV-- 10%

Here's the way it is... We are AMERICANS.. We have Large Interstate Highwyas all over this country with wide 2 ..4.. and 6 lane roads .. We travel here and there on these large roads...not to mention the large off road areas.

We drive big ass rigs becuase we want too. That is our Right to drive what ever the "F" we want.

We ar not some euro city with streets that are 9 feet wide and don't pay a gallon. $8.00

There is enough oil in the ground to last over 50 years AL Gore is an A hole. He said the polar bare population is getting smaller do to global warming. At the same speech a guy from the fish and game department challaged him by saying the Polar Bare Population has increased by 30% ..not decreased. He was ushered out of the room by security after Al wouldn't answer his question...

I say ..I'm AMERIACN ..I drive what I want.. "F" the tree hugers.. I'm a free man and Paid my price for it.

GM Wake Up..you only have one line of True off road rigs.
