I had the dealer put one on my H3 before I took deliver...was $220.00..with the barrel lock...I have seen others that are less expensive and look almost identical but the lock is not a barrel...

I guess I didn't answer that very well...I don't know if it will fit an H2.. I just asked the dealer to put a locking chrome door on. It is really not the CAP but the door..here is a pic.

I was told by my dealer that they had to custom build an adaptor to get the H2 cover to fit on the H3 three because of the difference in the shape of the fender.

H2 and H3 FUEL DOORS are not the same. The two doors are diffreent where they rest up against the vehicle. There is a curve to the H3 one.

The gap around the one you see in the previous photo is not there on the H3 cover. A black bezel shaped the the fender finishes it off without the gap. I 1st. installed this one then returned it to the dealer for the one made for the H3. Both will fit but the proper one fits better.

Here are some pics of the correct one, that I installed on my H3 last week. I can get these all day long from Hummer for $175.00.

From that shot I guess it does look like there is a gap..So I go out in garage and shoot a close up so show how it fits.

It does look alot better than the one I originally installed. The one I put on first had a definite gap around it. From the picture yours looks tight. Mine looks like the one in trebors photo. Notice, ours does not lock.

But it is an actual Hummer accessory, from Hummer.
Not sure about you, but in West Texas we don't have much gas theft going on out of people's garage. That is until my childern start driving and I make them buy their own gas.

They are the same size, they just have a different bezel around the edges to fit the contour of the fender.
the above link shows and H2 door on an H3. We were doing it until the doors made specifically for the H3 came out.
