hi im hoping someone can help. My alarm and central locking have stopped working from the remote (central locking works fine from the switch) I can only guess that it will either be a fuse blown or the alarm ecu faulty (i have replaced the batteries in the keyfob) I cannot see a fuse labelled alarm anywhere so i am going to try and find the alarm ecu. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

BCM controls both-if it wasn't working the alarm would be the least of your problems. Have you tried your other remote? What year is your truck?

BCM=Body Control Module
The PDM(Passenger Door Module) receives the remote signal, relays to BCM. If either of these were a problem, you'd have several other problems besides the remotes. Try reprogramming one or both of your transmitters. If you don't have another remote, I'd get one and try to program it. To reprogram:
-Hold driver door unlock switch down while cycling ignition key on/off twice(horn will honk and locks will cycle. release door lock switch.
-Press and hold lock and unlock buttons on remote for 10-30 seconds. Doors locks will cycle indicating transmitter programmed. repeat this for other transmitters
-Cycle ignition key on/off, horn will honk twice.
