Default Exterior Door Handles and Buckets (4)

I got new all Black buckets and handles that I want to change from the existing chrome ones on my rig now.

Once the door panels are off--Is it a piece of cake or is it a bitch with the glass in the way etc....

Hucky

The latter. If you search, there is a thread here on how to do it without removing the glass. As I recall you need to cut down a box wrench to do this.

Hey Huck, search on "remove door handle" and then on "replace door handle". Lots of posts.

got all the parts in,
My stereo guy is gonna do it for me, but the time delay is gonna be a bit because, were gonna go ahead and do

Rear view camera
Ipod Interface into stock head unit
bluetooth hands free phone system
XM Radio into stock head unit,

so while everything is apart hell do everything at one time.

All of this isnt a priority just a want, leaving on vacation in Nov so slowly she goes.

Huck

The Dealer wants 105.00 per door for labor Total 420.00 for all door handles installed on top of the 220.00 the parts cost.

My stereo guy will do it for 120.00 dollars labor installed.

For me doing the labor is the easy part, its getting those door panels off that is the hard part for me, I have always broke things on every rig I have ever taken the door panels off of. Like a bull in a china closet.
