Re: 2008 Camp Grayling Snow Run
Wow! First time I have seen an H3 with Boulder accessories beadlocks. How do they like them?
Double wow!! I just noticed they have the Tough Country front winch bumper and rear bumper too!
Would love to see more pics of that rig!

I know I have a few more but they are from the back. I have a real short video of him getting pulled out of the snow bank, though.
Funny story with that truck. Day 1 on the first hill we come to, he makes it almost all the way up but had to back down. Missed one of the turns and backed right off the trail on the left hand side. Pic 1:
Kept trying to get out but just couldn't make it, so they hook him up and got him back on the trail. No sooner than they unhook the cable he starts to back up again he falls off on the right hand side and needed the winch again. Pic 2 and 3:

Sorry, I should have posted an event announcement on it when I learned of it. As far as I know it was not a THCI event but an informal group getting together spread via email and word of mouth, but open to anyone and everyone. I'll be making more of an effort to give a heads up to the forum here in the future. This was the second one I've been on, but it has been going on for awhile. Next year is the 10th Anniversary for the Grayling Snow Run, so mark your calendar now for a weekend in Jan '09.

Re: 2008 Camp Grayling Snow Run
3rd weekend in January 2009 will be the 10th annual....
this is just simply a group of folks meeting up to have a good time.
If you have any pics or videos from previous snow runs, please send them to me via e-mail, or if its too big e-mail me and I will send you a mailing address. The higher the resolution, the better.
Thanks,
Scott

Re: 2008 Camp Grayling Snow Run
The second Rick bought that truck it was up for sale... just for some reason that truck has been able to sustain his ownership longer then any other Hummer.... but if you know him.... he wil sell any of them.... anytime.... for the right price...

Re: 2008 Camp Grayling Snow Run
Rick's wife and mine were talking Friday morning about his collection and my wife made her promise she wouldn't tell me about any of them currently for sale to avoid the risk of leaving the event with a lighter wallet.
