Stock Headlights not so good?
My wife and I took a several hour test drive in an '07 H3 early this week. One thing we noticed was that the headlamps seemed terrible. To be fair, they were misaligned (drove around with the high beams on and was never once flashed), however they seemed quite weak, with poor coverage. I hope that properly aligned they are fine, but I wasn't convinced they would be, so I was hoping to solicit some opinions. Thanks in advance..

Could be you didn't have the fog lights on for full effect. Or being in horse and buggy land passing vehicles were not so equipped...

Re: Stock Headlights not so good?
Replace factory bulbs with brighter Sylvania version. Much better.

I've had no issues, in fact I quite like the throw of these headlights more than other vehicles I've had.
I would say though that the Combo Fog & headlights work better than the High beams.

Re: Stock Headlights not so good?
Mine have always been fine, even on roads with no street lights and 50% tint on the windshield (like wearing sunglasses at night). If aligning them doesn't do the trick, $80 will replace all 4 bulbs to something brighter.

Re: Stock Headlights not so good?
In combination with the headlights and driving lights it actually really good. I found them bright with great coverage, almost as good as our lexus with HID's. And much better then other non-hid headlit cars ive driven.
