Ok I am gonig to get both the UCP and the Rails but I have seen several different prices for them. The est online so far is from AwtoWeb
They have them on Sale right now for;
Rocker Panel Protection Part # 12498471 = $495.96
Underbody Sheilds complete pkg Part # 12498474 = $304.54
Shipping for both total is $86.00.
I would prefer to drive to Denver and poick them up but the best price I have found are a tthe Dealer and they initially asked $678 and $416 then they lowered it to $360 and $600. uninstalled.
Does anyone know a place cheaper either online or where I can go pick them up in Colorado?
I do have a fabricator who said they would probably be able to make something so I can have both the Rails and my Steps bolted on at the same time with having the Step removable.
Any help would be appreciated.

Got both mine for $600 shipped
That was through Ebay though, sorry
The shipped prices that you have above are about as good as I have seen and your dealer's price is over $500 less than mine. Not much help but just wanted to let you know you have some good prices already.

I printed off the best deal I could find on the net and brought it to my dealer seeing if they would match the prices. The "best" they could do for me was give it to me at employee prices, which was only dollars above the web prices. I saved on shipping but had to pay taxes. All in all, I got both right at $800 total with tax and was able to walk away with them in hand and didn't have to wait for shipping.

That's a good deal and I like the part about not having to wait on them. I had mine shipped to the hotel when we went to Tellico and it was kind of nerve racking not knowing if they would get there or if there would be a problem with them.
My dealership is more like a stealership when it comes to accessories. They wanted over $850 for the rails and just over $700 for the UCP. Those prices didn't include tax or install

That would have been a MAJOR ripoff

Thanks for the input everyone.
I got a call back from my dealer after I told them of the online price and they were able to come down some more. I am not sure what she said since I was in the car with clients but I will call her in the morning. If they can come close to the online price including tax etc then I will go to the dealer. I like having a place to return things to if there is a problem.

Thanks for the GM site. I knew I had seen a cheaper site before just didn't know where. I put together a preliminary shopping cart over there and it looked like shipping is included and there is no tax. I am saving over $200 from the first prices I found. I'll give the dealer another shot but I doubt they can do this well.

Wow, those are great prices from GMPD.
I was able to swap out my steps for the rails at no charge. I bought my UCP from Lynch (H2parts.com). I think they were around $315.

As I recall that is where I was going to buy from originally. Shipping for the UCP was about $110 and for the rails it was between $150 & $200. The main reason I didn't order was that they couldn't/wouldn't tell me how quickly they would ship and I was in a time crunch for Tellico. Sent to emails asking and never got a response.

The rails are a stronger and heavier construction. I am sure just the material cost is the reason.

According to these emails.....The shipping is included. What do you think?
Quote:
My message to them; Message Text: I would like to order Parts #12498471 and #12498474. When I prepared a shopping cart on these items it showed no shipping costs.
Is this correct? If this is incorrect I would like to know what the shipping to 80424 would be before I order. If this is accurate I will
order today.
~Randall
Their message back to me;
That is correct, there is only a $9.95 process and handling fee.
I am sorry we do not handle price quotes through email, but you can do the following to get your price quote.
You will have to enter your part number into the SEARCH space provided on the homepage. You will then have to add this part number to your
shopping cart and click on CHECKOUT to see total charges with shipping and handling delivered to your door.
Thank you for choosing www.GmPartsDirect.com

Looks like we found a winner. This is $782 including shipping.
Next closest all inclusive was Hummer Parts online $708 plus $128 shipping total $836.
Awtoweb at 800 plus 85 Shipping = $885.
Local MedVed dealer at $952 including Tax but no installation and they came down a lot from their original quote.
The H2parts.com price was $828 the $212 for Hipping for a total of $1040.

Looks to me that HummerParts is the winner. The way I read the response is you have to get to the point of checkout to see what they shipping is and that is how I remember it. Let us know how it turns out.

I bought pretty much all my accessories at the dealership. Usually I compared their prices and on line before buying them.

X2. Got a guy from the dealer here in the bay area that usually hooks me up with some decent deals for all my accessories. I just picked up my UCB and Rock Bars.
