Saturday night (Sunday morning), I was sitting at a light waiting to turn left. A Toyota Camary was behing me. All of a sudden I feel a tap. I get out of my H3 to see what happened. A drunk driver slamed into the back of the Camary at about 45 mph. The Camary slamed into my truck. The Camary was crushed in the front and back. I didn't have scratch on my H3. The spare wheel messed up his hood pretty bad

Glad to hear the H3 made it out without a scratch. Hopefully the passengers in the camry turned out the same. And why in this day and age is there still drunk driving? To me, its as bad as using a gun in a crime. Just my two cents.

Michigan I think will make a mandatory 1 year prison for anyone over the limit, no excuse law soon i have read.
That mean you cannot get off no matter what
Did they arrest the drunk driver.
hope all is OK with you. I heard these h3 are the safest in the GM line

Make sure you have a body shop check out your rig. Sometimes there is damage that you can't see.

especially the tailgate (which is typically sort of fragile on spare tire carrying vehicles) which could be hidden by the spare.

Sorry to hear about the accident but at least everyone was ok right? Glad there was no visible damage to you baby but I would get it checked out as previously mentioned. I had someone pull out in from of me in my Trans Am almost 20 years ago and you could hardly tell there was an accident. Had it checked out and there was $1,500 worth of damage that was not visible.

Thanks, I'll get it checked out. Should I go to the dealer or a body shop? I don't think they arrested the guy, his girlfriend was trying to give out his info before the cops came. This guy was so drunk he couldn't even walk.

Being such a new vehicle, I would take it to the dealership and let their body shop look at it.
They would arrest somebody who had 2 beers and wasn't in a wreck, but they don't arrest this guy

With both.
The tire might have damaged the tire carrier on the door. For your piece of mind, I would recommend what these people have already stated.
