These are the SPOT pattern and not the flood which they do offer. I love them and some of the pics do not really show how bright they are. They are rated i think around 1200 lumens each side.
What is great is NO BALLAST, NO WARM UP, Just flip switch and awesome light.
Mine are aimed down at road and i picked spot pattern to help out with distance further down the road since i knew i was eventually doing HID upgrade on headlights which do very good job of lighting up right in front of truck anyways.
I 100% recommend these and would not hesitate as soon as i have more money to drop to get a full light bar up top.

Hi Richard, nice job mounting the lights and i like where you mounted the switch out of site. they look bright as hell. I may have tried them but i already have hids in the DRL holes and they work great.

Would you recommend the flood pattern also as it would light up the surrounding areas where the headlights are not already lighting up?

Yeah i think you couldn’t go wrong either way and the floods would be awesome too. I think if you want a wider beam to light up more sides of the road, then the Flood Pattern is def for you. I just wish i had room in the fender flare to mount another one; I would have put one flood and one spot for sure next to each other. I didn’t do it because i thought it would have taken too much fabrication and i wanted it to look like it came from factory.
