Default Got 5 DTC's!!!

On my way to work today the check engine light came on. After that the engine would not rev over 2500RPM. It felt very sluggish the 18 miles to work. Finally got home and checked the codes...

1. P0740 - Torque Clutch Circuit Malfunction
2. P0753 - Shift Solenoid "A" Electrical
3. P0758 - Shift Solenoid "B" Electrical
4. P0785 - Shift/Timing Solenoid
5. P2761 - Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Control Circuit/Open

My 2005 H2 has roughly 11.5k Miles. Is the H2 known for a weak tranny? I remember a post that someone went through 4 trannys already.

You need an ignition switch. Ignition switch is dropping ign 1 voltage to trans. Dont worry its not your transmission.

Wow... Never would have thought it was the ignition switch from those codes. So does that mean I need new keys as well?

BTW thanks for the quick response. I appreciate the help. I'm just glad it happened now while still under warranty.

No new keys. Ignition switch and the ignition lock cylinder are two seperate components.

I amazes me how GM could design stuff to be able to fail lilke this. For example... the but warmer in my drivers seat no longer heats but but the back warmer does. I mean seriously what a load of crap.

Oh well its still a HUMMER and I will deal with the stupid ticky tack stuff breaking as long as the main drivtrain holds up.

They fixed it... It was the ignition switch like all of you said... Thanks again. While it was in I had them fix my mirrors too.
