Default Navigation standard on 08 H2?

My dealer told me last week he thought navigation was going to be standard on the 08 H2's has anybody else heard either way on this?

Also is the navigation slot for the disk separate from the CD players? Like can you have the navigation disk in and play a CD at the same time?

I doubt it'll be standard, because GM'll want the extra $1200 (or whatever) on top of the sticker price. The disc slot will probably be the same as it is now.

NAV= not standard!

NAv option allows NAV disc slot and CD slot. SO you can use both at the same time.

Sadly of all the 6 or 7 hummers I've owned none of them had factory nav. I'm probably gonna get one in the 08 h2.
My dealer told me today that you cannot play a CD and have the navigation disk in at the same time, but you said you can?

Dealer is correct on 2007 models, but that should change in 2008 w/ the interior upgrade...

I ordered a 2008 H2 about a week ago and navigation was not standard. I did ask the salesman if the new '08 can play both CDs and navigation at the same time and he said he's not sure. So as of now it's a 50/50 chance!

NAV is not standard on all H2s, but MIGHT be standard with a specific package...not sure, this is marketing.
The 2008 NAV system I have played with does have two slots. One behind the screen for the NAV DVD, one at the top for a CD. I have not driven the H2 with the NAV system operating or with a CD playing, so I cannot verify this, but with two slots....
Hope this helps...
