Exclamation HUMMER H3 start up problem.

hey guys! i had my hummer h3 2007 for 2 years now and i took it used. the man that had it before forgot his kiss inside and it locked. he broke the door with a hammer. from that time a have problems with the security. many times
the pass lock flashes and then i cant start it up. i do the trick that we wait 11 minutes open 11 closed for 4 times and then it takes some months for it to flash again.
i want to ask if theres a way to stop that by maybe formatting the security memory, or making a fast trick to open it again. tnx!;p

I have had my H3 for a few months now, I bought it used also. I had the same issue with passlock system for over a month when I got it. I had it in three GM dealerships, and by accident a mechanic found a recall on the key cylinder for the ignition. He replaced the part, reset the system, and I haven't had another issue with it.

I know it doesn't have anything to do with the door, but it is doing the same thing mine did. It might be worth a try.

It is the security feature of the key module not reading the key resistor. When it fails it takes 10 minutes to reset and is sporatic until fixed. Happens in many GM vehicles with the anti theft feature using the key mod.
