Has anybody used a GM Employee discount on the H3? How does it compare to the GMS discount? I realize the deal GM is offering now doesn't apply to 06 vehicles but I'm wondering if there are actual employees who have used their discount.

"GMS" is employee pricing. "GM Supplier" is different (and not as discounted). Why they used the confusing acronym, we'll never know. On the H3, the GM Supplier discount is around 2k off, GMS is around 4k. Roughly.

I go the SUPPLIER discount and the sticker was $38,660 and I paid roughly $35,288 so it is a lttle more than $2K.
I am not sure what employees pay...

There used to be 2 emloyee prices, GMS for a 'out of dealer stock' purchase and GMO for an 'ordered' vehicle that saved you dealer stocking fees. Not enough people used the 'order' program to keep it going.

I live in Scottsdale, AZ and I work for a communications company that also owns Hanheim Auction company. My discount was the Supplier Discount, which I is less of a discount than if I worked at GM. All dealers do not have to honor the discount - I called 30 dealers in AZ, CA, UT, NM, CO, MO, TX and others. I found 3 that would do the deal. Lynch in Missouri, Sewell in Dallas, and one other one, I forget the name... I think it was in Shreveport, LA though.
